Making progress requires momentum which is a function of speed and energy. In 2019, we must have strategies (and tactics) that help us generate, maintain and increase speed and positive energies to achieve our goals and aspirations.
Challenges and obstacles would arise from known and unknown sources but with the right strategies (and tactics) in place, victory is ascertain.
Start by writing or rewriting and clarifying your personal, career & business goals for 2019. Make the “vision clear and plain” that they should be smart goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Result-Oriented & Time-Based!
Stay focused by keeping your goals in your consciousness daily, constantly reminding yourself of their importance so that other urgent things do not overtake their being actioned or executed. Stick to the plan, at least do something daily that is in the direction of achieving your planned goals. Be undistractable!
Finish by following through on the plan. Enlist the support of like-minded community e.g. www.professional360.org, that shares similar drive for holistic and well-rounded growth for businesses and professionals. Commit to completion of tasks. Celebrate every small victory or accomplishment however small it may be – writing this blog for us is an accomplishment of a 2019’s goal!
Remember, goals setting is the good soil upon which every growth grows. Always, celebrate yourself and your “small” victories!
